| 1959 DAVID BROWN 950 - HYDRAULIC SYSTEM | | I have the above tractor, and have a front end loader mounted on it. I thought it would be easy to plumb into the hydraulic system to a remote spool to operate a loader. I don't know if this is possible, has anyone out there done this and if so where do you tie in for pressure? | |

| | Do You Like to Throw Things? Do You Ever Make Opportunities for Throwing? | | If so, what do you like to throw? Why?I used to like to throw glass bottles and smash them when I was a child. I also liked to throw stones at bottles and the like. Sometimes I would throw things at an old car. This week I was throwing pieces of concrete block into the bucket of my front end loader, and it became a sort of a game to see how far away I could stand and still make it. Do you ever do invent ways to enjoy youself while throwing things? Please give examples.I enjoy throwing a baseball much more than throwing a football.Of course, my all time favorite throwing past time is skipping stones on a body of water. I really enjoy doing this, and competing with friends on who can get the most skips out of a stone. Do you ever do this? | |

| An A.A. friend seriously injured recently | | I am an alcoholic/addict.
I have been clean and sober over 17 years by the Grace of God.
I am also a member of my local A.A. club.
I have many friends there but with caregiving my dad, I seldom make it there.
I got a call yesterday from a friend in A.A.
Seems a 40 year old friend of mine was burning an old barn building in a pit as it was destroyed in a storm.
He was using his Bobcat front end loader to move the lumber etc to the bonfire.
Seems he got a little too close and the hydraulics caught fire on the Bobcat.
As it burned he couild not free himself due to fear and heat etc.
His wife and daughter were shocked and also could not help due to the heat.
He ended up losing his eyesight, both arms, one leg, and his privates.
This basicall puts him on deaths bed in his mind etc.
He doesn't feel like a man anymore, and he can't hold his wife etc.
These are his thoughts right now though not... | |
| | Humane society commercials | | Those commercials really upset me. I can not believe the complete disregard for life some people have. I don't understand how some people can just be so completely heartless. God that picture where they move that downed cow with a front end loader and roll her over. I could just about wring those peoples necks. The must not feel that animals feel pain or have any type of feelings whatsoever. It gets me so mad that I could just about lose it - makes me wild!!! I have nothing against the humane society and the commercials only the people who are cruel. The humane society is just trying to make people away. | |
